Our story
2016
Our story began at Clear Choice Financial in 2016 with a vision to transform the financial services landscape through a unique blend of expertise, technology, and personalised guidance. In late 2015, we recognised a pivotal shift in the industry: the future of advice would rely more on digital communication—through the internet and phones—rather than traditional face-to-face models. This insight sparked the creation of Clear Choice Financial, which we officially launched as a General Advice practice in May 2016. Our mission was simple yet powerful: to make insurance accessible and straightforward, helping clients from all walks of life secure the most competitively priced risk insurance policies. We focused on educating our clients, believing in the motto, "Let them buy from us, rather than us trying to sell to them." This approach quickly resonated, leading to steady business growth and referrals from satisfied clients and their accountants. Today, Clear Choice Financial proudly serves over 500 clients and continues to thrive.
2018
In 2018, the financial services industry faced significant challenges due to the recommendations of new educational requirements, resulting in a mass exodus of advisers. Recognising the urgent need to support the industry and prevent the widening underinsurance gap, we developed a General Advice (GA) training model. This program empowers existing advisers to implement a GA framework in their businesses, allowing them to continue serving clients without the burden of new educational requirements. Since then, we have trained numerous advisers and remain committed to empowering many more to stay in the industry.
2022
In 2022, we took a significant step further and applied for our own General Advice Australian Financial Services License (AFSL), which was granted later that year. Currently, we successfully operate multiple business practices under our AFSL, with plans to continuously expand further.
2024
To enhance our client experience further, we developed a custom-built Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in 2024. This innovative tool streamlines our operations, improves client interactions, and ensures that every client is supported. By integrating cutting-edge technology, we can maintain our commitment to exceptional service while fostering strong, lasting relationships. Together, we are not just a service provider; we are a trusted partner in our clients’ journeys.
